Boarding Information

Feed Program

• Twice daily feeding of quality alfalfa hay.
• Orchard grass hay in place of alfalfa is available (@ $20 extra per month) for the morning feed.
• Portion sizes geared to EACH individual horse.
• We are happy to add any special supplements to the above, as supplied by owners.
• Stalls are cleaned at least twice daily.
  

Health and Safety

• Salt blocks furnished.
• Since horses should eat in a natural, head-down position, all our mangers are built with this in mind.
• Outdoor water troughs are cleaned weekly and automatic stall waterers are checked twice daily.
• Fencing is either "no-climb" horse fencing or 4 rail board fencing.
• Our fences and facilities are kept in excellent repair.
• All horses boarded are required to receive yearly inoculations and shots. Your horse can be scheduled with us for a stable call to the vet.
• Super sturdy hitch posts with mats are used throughout the ranch.
• Rubber mats cover work area floors.

Miscellaneous

• Owners may use any vet or farrier they wish.
• Owners may invite their own trainer to give them lessons here. Trainer must have insurance.
• We also have both a Western riding instructor and an English riding instructor on staff.
• Our soil is natural sand, therefore both the arena and the paddocks have excellent winter drainage and mud is never a problem here.
• The arena, although not covered, is usable year-round. Lights are installed for evening riding.
• In the summer, we water down the arena daily.
• Although we do not have public trails on our grounds, we can ride Out onto Tonto National Forest land by the Superstitions within 1/8 th of a mile from our grounds. Endless riding.
• We have facilities for stallions.
• Our day rate (please call for space availability) is $10 to $15.
• A swimming pool for the horses is available to injured and non injured horses for a swimming fee. Swimming will be done by staff.
